Wow! That was a kick in the teeth to their confidence level. Now that Rinzel has been sent down, I guess he has no choice but to go to 12/6. Can it be any more evident that these guys are tired? 13 goals against in two games? Blashill should know better. Half of this team are kids. He is killing them!

Wonder if they’ll get in on the Brossoit sweepstakes. He played very well when he was with their club.
If the team in Sweden is going to continue to have Frondell play on the 3rd line I would prefer he did that here in the states. The sooner the better.
I said about a month ago since Knight is playing so well when are teams going to start making that extra pass that ends up not being a shot on goal. I think that’s part of it especially since the Blackhawks are getting better and better at transition, so teams tend to cycle more and so on.

It’s fun to watch this team just put a lot of pressure on the opponent with their ability to skate and just be all over the ice at times.

Nice game on the road. Knight is difference maker in the standings, we probably have won 3 or 4 more games because of him than we would have if Mrazek was still here. That’s the difference between being in a wildcard spot vs battling Vancouver for last in the west. Have to give the team in front of him some credit too at they have been improving the shot differential, which has been almost even the last 4 wweks.
Some interesting stats. Only 2 teams in the west have more regulation wins that Chicago (Colorado/Dallas) and they are right now top 10 PP in the league and top 5 PK. The team is making progress!
