If they want a culture change then EP40 should have been the first one out the door. It was more of out with the old in with the older.
This trade for Gallagher reminds me a lot of PA early trades like Travis Hamonic. Stupid unnecessary take.
He will score 20 now that he is off this shit team.
Typical Canuck move. They bring in Manny because he is good with young players and 20 minutes later trade a 25 year old and bring in a 34 year old. At least now Nils won’t have to play on a dysfunctional teams with poor centres.
Probably more of an out with the old, in with the new, thing. They need to shift the culture of the room and Hoglander being a close friend with EP40, he might be enabling his behavior. Now I hope they can trade EP40 to completely shift the dressing room.

I don’t know why this was so important for them to do. Seems like they’ve been pursuing this for a while. They should bring in a vet or two that will have at least a little trade value on one of the future trade deadlines… not retiring players.
