7 GMs passed on Reid. 1 & 2 were layups so let’s say 5 GMs passed on him. I didn’t think it was an overly strong draft anyways so I don’t care.

    Who did you want?

I think Reed would have been the better choice. I did not think Maholtra was BPA at 3oa, but I guess if the Canucks passed him by the Vancouver media would have erupted with a fury because they have pushed this scenario for months, coaches son and all…🤮

Canucks better hope for Dupont next year or at least the top C prospect. Another C is a big logjam going forward. BPA is a thing but was CM high on how many teams lists will be talked about for a long time.

Caleb Malhotra is committed to play NCAA hockey for Boston University for the upcoming 2026-27 season.

Caleb will be playing behind Lawrence at Boston U who will be in a sophomore year. I’m expecting some bounce back from Lawrence next season. He’s potentially the better C prospect. Definitely a better skater. Malholtra is a clunky skater. He needs to work on that. Lawrence plays a more solid game overall…

CM is RJ’s 1st big stamp on the team. The scrutiny will make it fun for awhile lol.

I guess time will time if CM has the chops to prove Vancouver proud.

Did not expect that, but I love building through the middle of the ice! You can’t be good without depth at center.

Canucks reach back from 3rd for Caleb.

He’ll be a good player but I feel they could have done better.
