There was a buddy from an old site I use to go to that was not a fan of Hughes at all The guy lives up North ( I forget his name but it was from a TV show) he use to get raked over the coals for his Hughes comments. Can’t say I am a fan of Hughes either. The guy would get crushed when it came to the playoffs. I couldn’t care less about how much he makes or where he lands. I like the return Canucks got so now QH is pretty non existent to me.
Best return the Canucks netted in decades. You have to put a premium on character when drafting players. QH wasn’t the team first player he’d like to portray himself as. The Wild have a problem on their hands now.

I had & have no issues with the return for Hughes. Guerin wanted him bad & forced the trade now it’s his problem he inherited lol

I doubt Hughes asks for more than Makar & if he is he’s not getting it. Resigning in Minny or not is the real question. He really isn’t loyal in the slightest like his buddies Matt & Brady.

If $20m it’s not in Minny or NJ & still be a contender. If he truly wants to win then taking a shave if a long term deal.
