a smart fan knows this isn’t a very good team. Nor are they being run by a good coach. This team is so far away from legit contention where they have a 5 to 7-year run of being a top 8 team for the cup. Any hockey fan can see the holes all throughout the team and farm system.

In a playoff position and yet one game out of last place. Same number of points after the same number of games as 2023 when they were also only one game out of last place.
Speaking of the Islanders, that Schaefer is a great example of an 18 year old who forced his way onto the team. Danny should take note what that looks like instead of making a farce out of Jett being the youngest player ever to wear a flyers jersey. That’s been such a joke the last 2 years it’s embarrassing. 3rd times the charm they say and eventually Danny will probably get it right.
Flyers are :
27th in goals
20th in PP (which while still bad is still better than the Torts years. At least they won’t be setting another NHL record this year, probably.)
29th in Shots/game
26th in Shots against/game
while still rocking a .890 sv% -
