I know it’s day #1 of Free Agency, but not impressed at all so far. Briere HAD to sign Foerster and Vladar, so he doesn’t get a pat on the back for doing something he was supposed to do. We have so many wingers, why sign Accairi and Ashton-Reese? They will barely make it to the 3rd line. Hopefully Brier finds a quality Center without overpaying? Very glad that Nurse didn’t sign with Philly. Let’s see what Danny’s next moves will be?
I was totally underwhelmed with the draft picks. And today is another strikeout so far. BOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
I’m kind of torn. I didn’t want the Flyers to get into horrible overpays (like Trouba for four years). But I did want to, you know, get better. No center upgrade. No PP defenseman. Came in with two main holes. And so far both are still holes.
Yo meltzer, please tell me danny isn’t done! I like the TF extension. The rest is a lot of nothing.
