yes its me 2050Participantwhat evidence is there risto will cut the goals by a good bit? there is next to no chance carl puts up half point per game rest of the way. nothing but an ok dime a dozen 4th line player.
there is very little separation from top to bottom. all propped up by artificial points. like the flyers 4 games up on buffalo. that is not a huge deficit at all. this is what the owners want. makes for boring hockey. like how the flyers and others play.
you should not get any points for losing. never ever. not sure why they find that hard to implement. regulation wins having the same value as OT and shootout wins is also flawed. again, this is what the owners want to prop up teams.
go flyers. brick by brick.
who will they trade a 1st for to replace the forest? looking forward to seeing the forest back for the ECF.

ParticipantThe Flyers just got through two six game stretches against tough competition with enough points to get them to the second best record in the conference. Now they’ve got a 7 game stretch where they need to take care of business against teams they’re clearly better than. I don’t care that 6 of them are on the road. Ten points in this stretch should be the goal. I don’t care at all most of them are on the road. This is take care of business time and they need to put some distance between themselves and the teams chasing them . . . which is everybody except CAR.
Thu, Dec 18 @ Buffalo
Sat, Dec 20 @ New York
Mon, Dec 22 vs Vancouver
Tue, Dec 23 @ Chicago
Sun, Dec 28 @ Seattle
Tue, Dec 30 @ Vancouver
Wed, Dec 31 @ CalgaryBUF stinks, the Rags can’t put the puck in the ocean, VAN is worse than BUF, CHI was sagging before Bedard got hurt, SEA showed little in their first matchup and there’s should be some revenge in mind vs. CGY.
Foerster was never going to be available for these games, but his injury news is bad. The combination of Grundstrom, a career .25 PPG guy over 300 games who needs to produce at about a .5 PPG clip to keep some offense going, and Risto, who should cut the goals against a good bit, will have to do for now. The Flyers have to hope that adding those two will wash out the loss of their top GPG guy in TF.
