yes its me 2050Participantlike danny boy you are a fn putz.
please post the flyers winning %, I miss them.
40 points 24 year olds have no value. Brink is a good player.
Hahaha, is he a needle moving difference maker? He’s a small bottom six winger on an expiring contract who brings nothing other than 3rd line level production at a position where the Flyers are growing past him. In return, they got a promising Dman who was buried with the team he was on. I thought that was the kind of trade teams on the outside looking in were supposed to make. Actually, it is except in the twisted minds of Flyers haters.
buried on his team because he has done jack shit you putz.
keep sucking their crank they love dumb ass fans like you.

ParticipantBrink for Jiricek. Wow.
Absolute steal. Big 22 YO RHD with Top 4 potential for a small .5 PPG depth winger who was odd man out anyway. If they don’t do anything else, I’m satisfied.
The only way to look at this is all Bobby Brink was worth is a reclamation project? A kid whose only attribute is his size as he can’t skate and is a very low hockey IQ player.
Granted, Brink is no superstar, but being as kind as I possibly can be, this is a very underwhelming return.
The return for Brink was fine. He had no future here. It was one of Brink or Tippett that had to go ASAP.

It was not a steal but the right deal to be made. Jiricek is a project like how Drysdale was. Drysdale has turned out to be a great dman though.

Brink’s days with the Flyers were numbered even at the start of this season. Just because no one here but me was saying it all along doesn’t mean it’s not true. That they got anything, even a potential anything, for the guy is a huge win.

rather have this return than a pick, of which the flyers will miss on. no issue with the trade though many peeps just looking at the draft and where he was picked thinking it was an absolute steal. Reason why his value was that of a 3rd line player.
How all those 4 2nd rd picks from 2025 looking. All rated in the 1sr rd by the flyers.

yes its me 2050ParticipantThey better get to work and get Jiricek a skating coach. Dude skates like he has one leg. The franchise has done pretty well with guys who were drafted as poor skaters. Foerster and Brink come to mind.
Avg NHL max skating speed 22.14 mph (fwd)/21.57 (D)
Foerster 20.9
Brink 23.3
Jiricek 20.1 (oof!)Not sure how slow he was before but Foerster is till fairly bad. Yea Jiri’s skating is very bad.
The forest is a smart player which makes up for lack of speed

ParticipantDeslauriers traded to the Canes for a conditional 7th round pick. I wonder what the condition is? LOL
Probably that ND scores a hat trick in game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals. j/k.
It was a 2027 7th as well. I’m just glad he’s off the roster. Unfortunately i can’t say the same for Risto. Risto will retire a flyer while never seeing the playoffs (although i’m told he’s built for the playoffs).
