ParticipantThe culture of this team moving forward is huge as we all know. Hopefully he’s moved sooner than later.
Culture changed when the old regime ended. A few trades as well has helped it along.
The culture changes when all the bad examples/influences are no longer on the team.

Hopefully they find a way to trade Boeser as well. Time for all the flakes to go.
Demko I see as a positive in the room but he is better for the rebuild as an asset if he can get a healthy run in.
After those guys are gone, it’s pretty much the end of that era.
Boeser is a TDL option when teams are hot to trot to add goal scoring. Otherwise he stays when the market keeps shunning him,
Demko is what he is no worries there.
DeBrusk heads the good bye train.

ParticipantBefore the twins became Presidents, they offered to work with EP116 to improve his game. Apparently he blew them off. It’s also been suggested he’s lost his passion for the game which coincidentally occured right after he signed his deal. This team will be crap for awhile, in the long run they are better off without him.
It was further back than that. He started to fall off a couple of month before the deal was done actually. I did notice the “right after the deal” narrative has grown roots since some of the media rewrote the facts as time passed. No Canuck fan should be getting dooped on this. We were all watching and debating it at the time.
If the idiot management team had of waited to the summer like they agreed, EP would have lost bargaining power significantly. Too bad EP didnt refuse then he would have been traded before this became an issue.
I stated often to trade EP if it cost over 10m. Didn’t see any reason to pay more. Sure he could score but he wasn’t a play driver. Play drivers are gold in my books.

Participant5/18m is one hefty new cap hit of roughly 17%
Ducks in hindsight shoulda done say 7/16m. Gauthier up next year. Cap crunch coming fast. All of a sudden 11.6m doesn’t look as bad lol
Nico Hischier just got 11.8 per. Hit 80 points once 4 seasons ago… hasn’t made it to 70 since so he has fallen off on production as well. EP’s inflated salary is getting less inflated by the week. Hopefully this helps get a trade done.
