ParticipantWatched the replay of the Edmonton game. That was an unreal finish. I knew the game was ending, too, so I was in disbelief before I was in disbelief.

ParticipantI’m thinking that Dallas is the team to beat in the West. They seem to have all of the pieces required. Rantanen is on a mission. Winnipeg could up end them, but they haven’t won on the road yet.

ParticipantWhorey Fairy got Edmonton on the board.
I know that rooting for the Oilers is a controversial thing in Leaf Nation, but is there an exception made for the current circumstances because they are facing a US team?

ParticipantMatthews is injured for sure.
My concern is that he seems to be injured a lot of the time but only sits out a little bit of time here and there. Gotta think its either something chronic that is NOT fixable or he has a lot of different injuries a lot of the time. Both are concerning for me.
I’m thinking that it’ll be corrected after the season ends. I can see him missing part of next season while he heals. He probably believes that this is his best chance to win the Cup with Marner still on the team.

ParticipantHe can’t shoot the puck. There’s no velocity. There’s no way he’s not injured. Whatever the case he still needs to find a way to score.
I seem to agree. There isn’t that zip and velocity. It used to go in the net in a blink of an eye. He’s injured, just not enough to be out of the lineup.

ParticipantHe was hurt. I think it’s just a convenient excuse now.
Time will tell. It won’t be known until the Leafs playoff run ends.

ParticipantThey’re showing up this year and we’ve seen it already. (Matthews is a concern, but I think we all agree he’s hurt.)

ParticipantUp 2-1 on the Stanley Cup Champs without our real #1G and people don’t seem happy. Sure we were all hoping for the Sweep so we could get passed the past but come on…it’s hockey, the game of inches and little mistakes.
Nylander break away in OT….close to winning.
Knies break away in OT….close to winning.Just didn’t end up our way. I’m hoping for a game 5 series win at home. (can’t handle a game 7 nail biter)
Letzzzz fucking go boys!!! Don’t be punk fans, get behind the boys. They’re showing up this year and we’ve seen it already. (Matthews is a concern, but I think we all agree he’s hurt.)
GLFG!!!
