Why in the hell would bennett leave Florida to play for the leafs? Why? Unless the leafs grossly overpay….and then why would you want to do that?
Where are the leafs getting the assets to trade for any of the players you mentioned?WHIPPER

The same was said about Phaneuf and so many other players.
Morgan can be moved, you just wont get much for him
Ship him to vancouver or anywhere out west for a 2nd.
He’s still a 40 pt dman with only 5 years left.
Or take a shorter term meh contract.Pretty much any contract can be moved in todays NHL. Some GM will think their situation will improve the players

Ask him nicely to play drunk hockey some where else.
