    Making sense
    ~PDF

For sure, this is not over. Almost every Cup champion has moments like this where they’re on the verge and then they clutch the fuck up. Florida was down 2 games to 0 and 2-0 in game three, then they did Stanley Cup Champion things.

That being said, this team just does not have that player, (or maybe 2-3 players), that can single-handedly turn the trajectory of a series, (aka McDavid, Drai). That’s what makes it frustrating AF living in Alberta and hate watching the Oilers. I think the Leafs are a much better constructed team talent-wise than the Oilers. But the Oilers have gamers, guys that bring it to another level when required. Heck, throw Bouchard and Nurse in there as well.

The Leafs need to make drastic changes. Their hands are tied, so no matter what people think, Matty, Willy, and Rielly aren’t going anywhere. They better retain Knies long term, and then JT and Marner are the odd guys out. Sure, it sucks to lose a generational (regular season) player like Marner. But we have a similar player in Cowan waiting in the wings, (although, I’m not sold on him at all). We need to use that cap space better. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

It looks bad, but this series isn’t over yet. Leafs could still win this and I will root for them until the end, win or lose.

If they win the next two and pull this off, then we’ll look back on these doomer comments and laugh about it.

If they lose this series, then you gotta do a partial rebuild at the least – wholesale changes must be made. They changed the GM, they changed the coach, they changed the captain, what next?

If this core bungles this last chance to step up, then you gotta break them up. You don’t reward vanishing acts with fat raises and new contracts.

Stollarz on the ice at practice, but unlikely to travel with the team to Florida.

Fuck Bennett, (until he is a Leaf next year).

Perhaps the biggest disappointment in all of this is that Mr. Sir chooses to post on that shit website vs here, lol.

Very weird though. When I browse the HB threads, I don’t see any more “Marner MVP” or “Give him $14Mx8” posts. Wonder why that is.

No response. Kinda like the Leafs last night, unfortunately. ????

Exactly. He is provoking people to be engaged in politics, but once ignored he becomes bored and leaving quickly.

It would behoove us all to simply ignore the poster in question. It’s what I’ve decided to do. No response of any kind, even to hockey posts, because even they inevitably end up in insults and political trolling. When no one gives him air, he’ll go seek attention elsewhere.

unfortunately that type of person loves to hear themselves speak, in their minds they are always the most important person in the room. ignoring them doesnt work.

Not good enough to be a Leafs player though.
He had a total of 14pts this year.
    Get a clue buddy.

Connor Brown is really good complementary player too.

Can’t destroy what’s already been ruined- Unholy Goalie.

Nothing is ruined or destroyed. Those of us who lived within our means are doing fine. The younger generation must learn to do the same, not just live on credit.
Mr.Carney is extraordinarily qualified to lead a financial resurgence. He has a well established cabinet around him.
