Stenberg is having a great WHC. If the Leafs draft him, it would be nice to see if they can convert him into a center. Winning FOs isn’t easy but if they start the transition from Day 1, it could pay off a few years from now. That’s the huge mistake they made with Marner.

They tried to sign him and then tried to trade him, Marner blocked both…nothing you can do. they missed the window before his ntc kicked in to Move him for a better return. Marner didn’t accept a trade because he didn’t want to leave Toronto. He wanted to stay and do what he is doing now. The Leafs, instead of making him a proper offer, made him the scapegoat. And total retards bought it hook, line and sinker. They thought, collectively, they’d be better off spending the money on 3rd liners. They became a lottery team as a reward for their dumbass idea. And now Marner is making every single one of these people like look like complete and total retards.

Marner is gonna win a Cup his first year in Vegas, that’s going to be hard for the Leaf faithful to swallow. Man, he’s playing fantastic with a deeper group around him. Amazing what happens when a team has talent, depth across all four lines, good/big/mobile defence and good goaltending.
My wife and I are moving to Muskoka from Arizona shortly, As a Westerner I don’t know how I’m going to handle all the Leaf love in Ontario??? Wish me luck!!!

Could be a blessing, with him out long term. More cap space to play with and an opportunity for someone else to grab his spot and make a name on the team. I think I speak for everyone here when I say we would feel incredibly lucky if the unhinged retard lost his ability to post permanently for some reason. Habs can’t get a single shot in all of OT. Only 12 all game. They deserve to lose most games. Lucky to have even made it this far. It’s like watching a lucky version of the Leafs.
