ParticipantLiterally out of necessity because of injuries to almost all their centers. Like I said, he’s at 120ish FOs which means he hasn’t played center for most of the year.
But he’s more than capable of the task. Leafs were too stupid to do it from day one.
No one said he did play for most of the season you fucking idiot.
Just said they have him playing center.Next time, just STFU, you dont have to soil everything with your nonsense.

ParticipantBichette to the Mets, 3yr $42M per. Insane for a guy who is below average defensively. But SUCKS to see him go.
I think the team we have now is the team we’ll have on opening night. What little remains is going to be priced WAY too high.
Agreed it was an overpay by the Mets, and I don’t subscribe to the theory that the Jays are doomed and can’t beat the Dodgers without Bo. They made it to the WS without him and someone else can step up at any time.
Dodgers are stacked for sure but nobody expected the Blue Jays to have the run they did this year, maybe next year it’ll be a team in the NL who goes on a tear and beats the big bad Dodgers. We can hope!
The pressure on the Dodgers to win again is immense now, going out and signing the most expensive / highly coveted guys tends to do that. It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out, especially if they falter at any point in the season.

ParticipantNot an excuse. They had multiple leads. Nylander helps blow leads, not keep them. Vegas was playing a back to back and had a goalie in net that had not played since October. Vegas has multiple injuries too. The Leafs PK got burned twice which is supposed to be a strength this year.
agree to disagree on thisI’m not raging, I just know, had Vegas lost, every retard Homer here would be screaming how Marner sucks and the Leafs are Cup contenders but the Leafs took full advantage of every opportunity to lose this game that they should have won.
keep telling yourself that.
that save on McMann in the first period was a massive and would put the Leafs up 4-1 … TSN turning point.January 16, 2026 at 12:19 pm #60212WHIPPER

Participantyour also overlooking that Nylander left the game after the 1st period.
Not an excuse but the Leafs were down a man who plays at 20 minutes a night.

Participant3/6 points on the road, 3 games in 4 nights against 2 division leaders and another playoff team.
Yeah, not a disaster by any means.

ParticipantOh no the village idiot is certain it was.a Leaf collapse. 🙄
Let’s not overlook the non call on Hill for blatantly interfering with Laughton with under 2 min left.
The NHL just loves Vegas though.
Sorry retard, the Leafs had every advantage and they still found a way to lose.
They had the early lead, facing a goalie that hasn’t played since October, Vegas played a tough division OT game last night and the Leafs managed to score 5 goals and blew the lead with less than 5 seconds left. They simply fucked themselves because this team is not that good.
Marner played fantastic, almost had 3 assists and his team won.
your also overlooking that Nylander left the game after the 1st period.

ParticipantDisappointing, but win in the Peg and go 2-1-1 on this road trip.
Matthews has looked incredible lately, hopefully Willy is back soon.
Or get Hellefuycked.

ParticipantAnd so begins UG-time lol
If the Leafs had won, which they had every single opportunity to do, every single retard homer on this site would have been screaming how the Leafs beat Marner as if they won the Stanley Cup, like they did when they won vs the Avalanche.
This is why Marner is better off in Vegas and why the Leafs are worse off with Marner. It’s just one game, it’s not the whole season but it’s just another example in the mountain of evidence that this team just is not that good and does not have the foundational pieces to be a contender or a Cup winner.
