Mitch Marner leads the NHL in playoff scoring and played amazing in two different Game 6s to help eliminate two teams and is now in the Conference Finals?! Unpossible!

I guess it all doesn’t count because his hair wasn’t wet enough or some other retarded excuse.

Anaheim is the #1 comeback team in the NHL. Coach Q won’t let these guys quit. Hart has to keep his usual shitty goal against out of the net this game.

Mitch Marner most definitely did not screen the goalie perfectly for a PP goal. Won’t get a point but that’s normal because it’s Game 6 and it’s unpossible for Marner to play well in a Game 6.

Mitch Marner definitely did not perfectly set-up Howden for a shorthanded goal because it’s Game 6 and it’s unpossible for Marner to score points in a Game 6.

Brett Howden, who had 9 career playoff goals prior to this year, now has 8 playoff goals since playing with Marner. Funny how that works.

Sedins are co-Presidents of the Canucks now with zero experience.

The Vancouver Canucks always want to be like the Leafs. It’s probably why they always lose.

we all have different opnions on what is “rebuild correctly”. the only opnions that counts is Chayka and Sundin’s.
I know you’ll be moaning and growning at every move they make and you don’t like any moves they make.

And most of those opinions will be wrong. If time has proven anything it’s that whatever the typical Leafs fans thinks is good, the opposite is usually correct.

If you look at the winners in the NHL, it’s pretty clear what works and what doesn’t. What the Leafs did previously did not work. And what Chayka did in Arizona failed miserably. So his opinion might “count” but it doesn’t mean it will work.

What does work is drafting high, drafting often and drafting well. Until the Leafs are elite at that, they will always end up failing everywhere else. The Leafs can’t build a team through mostly trades and UFAs because they simply suck at that too hard to make it a basis of a rebuild.

My complaints have been valid and correct because here we are, looking down the barrel of another rebuild with no Stanley Cup yet and if they don’t change their ways, that will continue for another 59 years.

The window of opportunity in the NHL is so small. Florida won 2 out of 3 Finals and now might be finished with an aging roster. Same with Tampa Bay.

MacKinnon was drafted 8 years before they won the Cup 4 years ago. Since then, they haven’t been anywhere close since then. Now, they’re “back”.

If you build a solid, balanced foundation, you give yourself as many kicks at the can as possible. The previous rebuild went off the rails after Tavares and was unbalanced.

The next rebuild must be done correctly.[/quote]

Wow! Talk about turning on the jets. Colorado, down 3, come back and win it in Overtime. That was a dominant 3rd and Overtime. How do you compete with that? Minnesota is a quality team. I don’t see the winner of the Ducks/Knights series getting a sniff in the next round. It shows how far away that the Leafs are, in regards to playing for the Cup. Just move Willy and Auston and get all of the draft capital and young assets you can get.
