I have little faith in this team’s ability to beat Florida, or even Tampa Bay, in the playoffs and make a deep run.
The regular season is a giant pile of meh because we all know, barring disaster, they will make the playoffs.
This core will be blown up within 3 years and the next rebuild will begin. Cowan will be like our Kadri from the last rebuild.

This is exactly correct. The BeLeafers have high expectations because we have Matthews. But their high expectations are unjustified.

Crazy how far the Leafs have fallen.
If they don’t win today I think that’s it. It’s confirmed they’re not a favourite to make the playoffs. If that’s the case then just blow it up.
