    Love it, Canucks can be patient, see where the dust settles and then move in.

    I think it would be a mistake to jump in. I am not overly thrilled with this draft class. Aside from Stenberg I don’t see an elite player. Good players yes elite no. They are getting 3 players in the top 33 that is a good base. I also think the Canucks are going to be a better team this year and the time to trade is at the TDL and stockpile picks for next year.

    Layering picks over future drafts isn’t a mistake. This draft has a good 10-12 prospects available with top 6 top 4 potential. After that too early to guess how others develop which there always are surprises that turn into gems. The TDL is likely when more vets are traded if no good offers before this draft.
