I already said its a factor…but its not “the” factor….no one would be signing for less to play for the panthers if they werent a winning franchise the past 3 years.

What numbers are you using?
Florida: $12 x 0.63 = $7.56
Ontario: $12 x 0.4647 = $5.58

That’s $1.2M per year! On an 8 year contract, that’s almost $10M!!! Nobody can convince me that doesn’t give some teams a HUGE advantage.

True, but I’m sure they’re also currently doing that, so any change to the CBA will still have a pretty serious impact on the tax gymnastics they’re able to do.

what will the cap be in 2028? around 120 mil?
If AM signed for the same cap % as his current deal, that would be 16.68m
so call it 17, would he sign for that?guess it depends what Mcdavid does
