I was hoping for a nice 1st line winger with size to play besides Matthews and Knies. A Legion of Doom clone. 3 guys with size driving to the net and working the corners. Not sure where Treliving will find one. The second line needs one as well. I’m not overly worried about the bottom 6. Rielly is the wild card on defense.

Tavares is the short term cheap vet now so yes. Another thing to note about his upcoming contract is that the NMC becomes modified in the second half of the deal. Therefore if JT doesn’t endure very well, and let’s be fair he’s still punching out at nearly a PPG, they’ll be able to move him.
