ParticipantDrury again, shows his hand, and gets bent over. Well done.
Now Im almost certain we will get Heidt and 2nd round pick for Trocheck from Wild.

ParticipantGreentree is who I wanted from the Kings. But only getting an additional 3rd is a disgrace.
Im really hoping that these are the early reports and that theres more attached to the trade.

ParticipantGreentree better turn into a god
With our luck. He will become a bottom 6 player.

ParticipantGreentree looks like a very good prospect, but wow, what a let down. Couldnt even get a 1st round pick out of it to back it up just in case.

ParticipantI don’t think this gets resolved until after the freeze is over. If I’m Panarin, why rush it, he holds the cards.
For Panarin, I dont think it matters nearly as much. Honestly, the sooner its over, the sooner he gets back on the ice, the better for him.
I think the longer this goes on, its the teams in question who are interested it benefits most. At some point the teams might go and make a trade for someone else, shrinking possible suitors and then forcing Drury to take whatever deal is on the table to walk away with something rather than nothing.

ParticipantI can’t deal with this site
They got rid of the pages, now the site is impossibly slow.

ParticipantWho does Edmonton have that we would want?
This would be the worst trade scenario ever.

ParticipantNew rumor Panarin will go to EDM to play with McDavid without an extension being worked out
Where in the hell are you seeing this? There’s no way he’d live there for even half a season. Edmonton is in cap hell with really not many ways to get out from under it enough to even fit half of Panarins contract.
I think hes joking.

ParticipantEK is at it again
From his latest blog RE: Panarin
“They’re all-in on Ovechkin’s final Cup run.Panarin would give them another elite puck-driver to take pressure off Ovi and Kuznetsov. The Caps are willing to part with futures.”Kuznetsov! Who hasn’t played an NHL game since 2024!
He found an article he wrote years ago, copy and pasted it.

ParticipantIm ready for an underwhelming trade return.[/quote
Im hoping that its closer to what we got for Miller, rather than what we got for Kreider.
However because of how he publicly put its all out there and how he handles these things, it is definitely a concern. The real issue is that Panarin wants a contract extension, a pretty sizeable one, with whatever team he approves a trade to. However, what makes me more optimistic rather than cynical about it, the teams who are supposedly in on him… LA, SJ, WSH and DET, all have the cap space next year to do it and decent prospects to go after. WSH less so than the others and I dont think they want to split the Protas brothers, I think theyre more likely to trade McMichael.
