What about Pettersson? After he had a down year last year Vancouver might be regretting the 11 plus mil contract they gave him. Any chance we could get him at a discount if we did something like the Nurse trade and took on the full Salary? We might get him for very little that way.

The only issue I see is the Pettersson/Tocchet baggage. But Tocc is a grown man and hopefully will green light understanding this is one of only a few chances to get a legit #1 center without giving away the farm.
