    Yup, no more over the cap BS in the playoffs.

    But hoping this leafs team doesnt make the playoffs this year, trade assets at TDL and get a top pick in the draft. This team desperately needs to refill the cupboard.
    Retool in the off season and go for a run next year.

    If the Leafs don’t make the playoff this year, I hope their pick is in the teens. Don’t what Boston to have a good 1st round pick curtousy of the Leafs.

    The Leafs can activate Tanev from LTIR if healthy provided the game day roster is at or below the cap ceiling.

    If Tanev is put on the LTIR, would be eligible to play in the “playoffs”?
    I know the new playoffs rule is that the team need to dress players to fit under the cap.
