Meh, no team has ever gotten points in 40 games straight so this was bound to happen. Tough travel schedule. 130am arrival. Thursday night is the game I really care about. Hope to see the same effort as last night.

That was the best thing I have seen from the Leafs in a long time. Matthews first few years, goals like that were regular for him. I actually thought he had the best shot I had ever seen. It has been a long while since he looked like that guy. That shot was a laser.
And him smiling at the crowd while an Avs fan was giving him the double fingers after he scored was just fucking awesome 🤩

Fantastic entertainment while that poster grasps at straws with his absolute shit covered hands trying to find the negative in the Leafs winning in OT, against what almost everyone considers the best team in the league right now.
The cherry on top – Willy scoring the OT winner which has put Tweedle Dumb into a tearful spiral resulting in him and his 9 alts have gone silent.
Credit where credit is due at least the loser with all the alts is honest about not being a Leaf fan anymore.

The Leafs seem to have finally bought into Berube’s gritty along the boards hockey and it shows. Their size is proving the be a dominance when it comes to that and it eventually just buys their star offensive guys space if they’re patient enough while they do it. This is a good thing too since it’s precisely what they always failed to do in the post season so I’m hoping this sticks around. They even said in the broadcast last night it was the advantage the Leafs had over the Avs since it’s not the Avs style so they played a Leafs type of game hence the Leafs win but still it was f’n super close because that’s how good the Avs are.
