ParticipantIdk if I was even referring to you.
Just in general. Every time I come in here you guys are taking about Marner. Unless you’re talking about how many 1st’s Matthews is worth in your rebuild fantasies.
Oh come on, the Tavares has got to go stance always makes me smile, don’t forget about that one.

ParticipantYou guys are obsessed with Marner.
He’s that hot girlfriend who dumped you and is now dating a more successful dude.
lol
Me: he’s playing good hockey on the 2nd line
You: well aren’t you an obsessive jealous man!!!
Me: ok… ok then

ParticipantSooooooo, McCabe basically murdered a guy on live TV, why is nobody talking about that beauty right hand?!?
That was sweet, a bit of a “wake the fuck up team!” kind of fight. I liked it 👍❤️

ParticipantThe connotation of “2nd line” is that he is not a 1st choice player. His total situational ice time proves otherwise.
Nylander was on the “2nd” line but he is still the first choice RW.
lol he’s on the 2nd line. The top six is a good place to be, primary offence, therefore being on the 2nd line isn’t an insult. He’s still on the top PP for instance.
Anyone who says otherwise is just being silly or deliberately trying to annoy someone.

ParticipantMarner is 2nd only to Eichel in ice time among forwards on Vegas.
15 min 5v5, 4 min PP, 1:20 min on PK per game average.
The idea that he’s on the “2nd line” is like saying Draisaitl is on the 2nd line when he’s not playing with McDavid. It’s designed to punish other teams with match-ups.
lol UG the definition of the second line isn’t based on ice time. I’m not saying he’s playing bad but yes, he is on the second line.
