So wedgie may be on the right track… someone messing around with the site.
I have thought that Ek has absolutely minimal involvement for years now. I think he steps in periodically to keep the illusion alive, but he has treated it as pretty much passive income for a while now.
The outtage a couple months now was also suspicious since literally nothing was changed. Did someone fail to pay the bills?

At this point I’m just going to sit back and watch the site go down, I’m betting it will be quick.
My best guess is it is a disgruntled (unpaid) employee trying to kill the site – best way to do that is to kill the Leafs’ thread.
But nobody knows.

I wouldn’t sweat it on posting over there. Ek doesn’t respond to anything and there’s plenty of evidence of him not paying bloggers/not responding/having no money left. It’s likely why Metz and Augello left without some sort of delay.
Honestly? It took a long time but when a place starts being overrun by troll types and stuff like political talk it slowly degrades the place and more average people refuse to go back. There’s places like this, reddit, FB or a billion other social media platforms people can go and not be bombarded by ads or non-hockey talk. We can definitely build up this place to better than that.
Also, we can respect others views but I think some people have to cut it out on troll attempts on their own fan base and others have to not buy into it and respond.

Yeah the Panthers are a better team than what they showed the first 2 periods.

Tough to imagine a more difficult situation for a goalie to come into a game. Then the team hangs him out to dry when the 3rd period started.
~Aetherielwell I’ll also face the truth, Florida came out in the third a hell of a lot different. Glad they did tho, now the leafs truly know who they’re facing. They got the wake up call while leading thankfully.

When Woll dialed in he can be very effective.
I think the best version of Woll is the better than best version of Stolarz, but his problem is consistency and stay healthy.

~alex.TMLoh don’t worry about that accent, like I said I’m the guy who grew up with the polish papa and great grandparents, if anything I’ve been taught to appreciate one since that tells me you’ve seen the world differently than I have so that means that there’s nothing more than something to learn ????
As for the goalies I believe you have it right, Woll just needs the confidence, and I think since he was able to fight his way through the hell that was the last game for himself he’ll be better for game 2, it would have built confidence. I just hope the leafs pummel the shit out of anyone who tries to go in tight to him. Want to play that kind of game Florida? Fine, get ready to lose your teeth.
