also, if I have to pick cars, trucks, buses and traffic lights, is it because I’ve been here for too long? because I can gtfo Bill if you want. no problem.

Kadri would be last on my list, which is already better than Stamkos

win or lose Pat, doesn’t matter. it’s the way they play I don’t like. I feel they could win more games playing differently, with the same young team.
    but that we’ll never know.
and remember, they won many games againts below average teams, often having to come back late in the game…
how does that work againts better teams? not too well hey.
they are still learnning, no problemo. I just hope the coach is too.

I don’t dislike him, told you before. I never liked his d system. it’s like watching Benny Hill running around.
but now I don’t like their PP!
so the d, the PP… whatelse is left to like? his press conference?

you’re right, a young and unexpericended team, but that is not a reason for bad coach’ strategies. how difficult is it to put Slaf in front of the net on the PP? not halfwall, not bumper, not behind the net… in front of the fucking goalie!!
how difficult is it to put Caufield where he could shoot? (like Laine)
that has nothing to do with being a young team.
and same goes for their play in the dzone.

to me Newhook and Dach are not fit to play center. so a center line with Suzuki, Evans, Kapanen and Veleno… I prefer. said that back at camp actually.
now if the coach can wake the fuck up and fix their play in the dzone and on the PP… it should be easier to win games.
    I’m not holding my breath.

how did Davidson look on Saturday?

not bad. missed an open net for his 1st NHL goal but overall he did well.
not a bad lineup tbh. you see the job is not over yet, far from it, but I like this line up better. kind of.

and in other news, looks like we’ll see
    Bolduc Kapanen Demidov.
    finally!

you can rely on him to play second-line minutes if need be, but ideally you want him on your bottom 6.

    exactly

he has the potential of becoming a 2nd line player.

meh, not in my book. too small and doesn’t score enough (unlike Caufield) to deserve top6 minutes.
    decent 3rd line winger imo.

I’d rather consider other options and use that cap space more efficiently.

yep, play the kids, see what you have.
Laine, Newhook, Dach… tbh none of them are top6 material
