Participantpretty accurate recap Mash. highly talented, low risk to take, good move by Brière.
at the same time, one has to wonder why would ANA want to trade him so bad. where there’s smoke…-

ParticipantBeen reading about potential trade targets, and it looks like this is a seller’s market (and most sellers want established players back, not picks or prospects).
in that case Matheson is probably gone

ParticipantMcLeod for our 2 1st? would BUF fall for it? always liked him, extremely fast skater. not the best option out there but interesting.

Participantjebus… I find a lot of people are way over-evaluating Heineman and have given up too quickly on Dach, but we’ll see lol.
I don’t over-evaluate Heineman Pat, I just think you need that type of player/skills on a top6 line. 1 passer, 1 scorer, 1 grinder.

ParticipantWould you try Heienmam on 2nd line?
CC- Suze- Slaf
Heinny – 2C – Demidov
Newhook – Dach – Laine
Andy – Evans – GallyYES!!! Heineman could do the same thing Slaf is supposed to do on the 1st. work the corners, retrieve pucks, make room for his linemates…
but god do I hate that 3rd line. aie aie aie-

Participantnow Larkin may not be on the market, how could we know? but I’d make a call to be sure, then pass to plan B.

Participanthi Pat, I think Larkin ended the season on a bad note with the coach and management. it was reported I don’t remember where.
