Honestly it’s hard to know what to believe about what is going on down there. I see reports of high prices and reports of things going well. It sucks that there is no bias free news. The information depends on who is giving it.
So honestly, how are things down there? Are eggs cheap or not lol. Looking forward to getting drugs 500% off

with tariffs of 50%, pretty difficult to imagine prices of goods like cars / appliances won’t go up significantly. only a question of time.

GO JAYS GO!I’m sorry Mash, but I agree that being sometimes good and sometimes bad is pretty much the definition of an average NHL goalie. The consistantly good ones are amongst the best there are.
Montembeault needs to be better, he can be better (he showed it in the past despite playing for defensively challenged teams) and we’ll need him to be better during the season.
Until then, I’ll be cheering for our boy “Dobby” to keep dominating. If he ends up getting the most starts because he plays better, I see this as an absolute win for Montreal because we’ll have two young goaltenders we can rely on moving forward with Dobes and Fowler.
Monty is likely gone once his contract expires if everything goes perfectly.

I am sure you can keep making up excuses… but the numbers and the stats show differently.
last season if not for him Habs don’t make the playoffs. as simple as that, like it or not.
only 4 goalies were better than him regarding goals saved above expected. WPG, TB, WASh and TOR. Monty was 5th.
not sure how you can say stats show differently.But for most of last year, he was not that great.

stfu idiotWhile I agree (as written in the blog) that Dobes needs to be the guy until proven otherwise at this point, I can’t think of one bad goal Montembeault allowed against the Oilers.
Could he have been better? Yes. Was he “an absolute disaster”? No.
Refs gave the Oilers that game on a silver platter but Montreal needed to at least find a way to get a point there imho.

also, watching Carrier following his man all the way up to the blue line on that last goal was pure joy. I said it before and won’t repeat it… you all know what I think.
