not even. you’re fucked. let say a player with a NMC changes is mind and wants to be traded, we saw that often. GMS have no options, they trade the guy.

if you never give NMC… it’s pretty simple. we’re happy, we keep you, we’re not happy we trade you. and the same thing for the player, he can ask for a trade whenever he wants. fair deal for both sides.the way you’re putting it is that players shouldn’t take advantage of their NMC, which was provided to them by the GM when they signed their contract.

Kaprisov has a NMC, so they can’t trade him, and he won’t sign. so they’re fucked.

maybe I’m missing a part of the story here but I don’t understand the emotional response, if he doesn’t want to play there anymore, what’s he supposed to do, sign anyway for a bunch of money and be unhappy? doesn’t really make sense
