I first highlight the text then hit the Quote button and it works 100% of the time.

ParticipantJordan Harris has not received a qualifying offer by the Blue Jackets.
We traded him last year for Patrick Laine and a 2nd round pick … another good move by HuGo.
Garfield
ParticipantHabs trade Primeau to Carolina for a 7th round pick.
They basically gave him away … he no longer had any future in Montreal anyway.
The Rocket’s net now belongs to Jacob Fowler.Garfield
ParticipantMarner 8×12 off to vegas
Leafs are going to miss his regular season production … but surely not his playoff performances (or disappearances).
Good player but too soft in the playoffs … the “Core Four” are no more. This should give the Leafs more flexibility in terms of money to sign missing pieces and the Marner Saga should be less of a distraction in Toronto.

ParticipantQualified offers to:
- Sean Farrell
- Jayden Struble
- William Trudeau
- Jakub Dobes
- Cayden Primeau
No offers to:
- Rafaël Harvey-Pinard
- Xavier Simoneau
- Noel Hoefenmayer
Le CH soumet une offre qualificative à Primeau, Dobeš, Struble et Farrell, mais pas à « RHP »

Participantmy god, i’d die just trying to get myself to get up and go.

Participanttrue, but let say they start the season with the current roster, do you have Matheson or Carrier on your top4?
have to go with Matheson imo. if he is still here of course.
and then there’s the injuries. how many games before Guhle hurts himself again?
should be interestingTough question … between the 2, I much prefer Carrier for his defensive play, we were going nowhere last year until we acquired him.
He really stabilized our defense core. For me, Matheson is the more expendable one as we already have 2 offensive Ds (Hutson & Dobson) in our top 4.
Garfield
ParticipantI kinda like the idea of a Guhle / Dobson first pairing !!
Then Carrier with Hutson…It does make more sense in my book … you pair an offensive D with a more defensive one and they get to play on their natural side.

ParticipantI cant post my mexican chicken with a hat.
Im very sad over this.
This is devastating news … I’m totally depressed now.
Garfield
ParticipantBetter them than us ???? … I’m sure they’ll enjoy having that useless penalty taking machine.
Countdown to Free Agent Frenzy: Leafs to show interest in Pezzetta?
Garfield
Participantsure, but if you are the Blues, this is most likely what you would be asking for.
Unless mtl 2026 first round pick is in play? I dont know.
I wouldn’t blame the Blues for trying as it’s part of the negotiation process … but I would say NO if I was HuGo.
The only way I would let Reinbacher go is if we got a good young centerman in return … but what do I know, I’m just a fefan like everyone else here.Garfield
ParticipantIf you are thinking about trading Reinbacher to get Kyrou, why not sign a guy like Ehlers or Boeser tomorrow and keep your assets?
Centermen and RHDs (high draft picks) are much more valuable than wingers which are a dime a dozen.
Garfield
ParticipantHabs have the assets. Makes sense. He’s actually good and not a roll of the dice like Dach/Newhook. Not sure why the Blues would want to move on? Berube is gone and Montgomery is a great coach for scoring.
According to D’Amico (in the video), the Blues have drafted a lot of wingers in the last few years and they need to make room for them in the lineup … their defense is also getting old so they are probably looking to improve in that area.
My guess is they also probably want to lower their salary load. JMO

ParticipantInteresting discussion about the difficulty of getting a 2nd line center and the logic of trading (or not) for Jordan Kyrou from the Blues.
