I expect a nice ovation for his return at the Bell Center ON January 7th.

and maybe a slice of pizza in the playoffs..? 😉

one thing’s for sure, if it’s motivation he needs to find his game back, he’ll have plenty in Montreal, along with a good serving of pressure lol.

I did told you the marktet was thin as fuck, it is.

Also, experience on a very young team is a good thing, even more so with Newhook, Dach and Ghules out (fuck Laine).

    Bon move.

I wouldn’t say it’s a “bad” move per se, but I’d argue that as of right now the kings have won the trade, considering Danault’s salary and current production, which has been abysmal, and there’s no salary retention…

now if Danault turns things around and gets a better production with the habs, then it might become a more even trade for both teams.

    no brainer move imo

I would’ve preferred another move than this, but perhaps this was the best option available to the habs without giving up a whole lot…

it will be difficult to take Engstrom out of the lineup…

what will make it easier though unfortunately for him is that he can be sent to Laval without being put on waivers, which you can’t do with either Xhekaj or Struble.

there might be a trade possibility once both Guhle and Matheson come back healthy, who knows…

Good job by the Habs tonight.
The Hawks are adrift and offensively helpless right now.

yeah, well they did show some feistiness despite not having Bedard in the line-up, it wasn’t a complete walk in the park for the habs either…

oh…bake some and put some pot in there

the trick is to mix the weed in first before you bake, if not then it might be a bit dry…

    and Monty to Laval

makes sense, he needs to find his game, and not cost the habs a ton of points in the standings while doing it…

    well said Pat, good game
    Matheson is a beast

yup, really glad they gave him that extension, a true no-brainer.

I’m happy they got some goaltending going now, and if they can find a bit of consistency in that department, the habs should make the playoffs, it’s wide open in the eastern conference.

if Monty also finds his mojo back then it’ll just be great news for everyone… I hope for him that he does.

after last night’s questionable effort, this is a nice regulation win!! 😁

killing the 5 on 3 early in the game was the turning point, great performance from Dobes.
