Fowler seems like a desperate move.

yeah, I have mixed feelings about it, although I kinda get what they’re going for, currently they have very little stability with Dobes and Montembeault, both are struggling to get it together, and I doubt Kahkonen would do a whole lot better lol.

Kapanen could learn from him, and eventually become a Danault 2.0
that move is for the short term obviously. they could keep their picks and stay the course, but don’t tell me they would not be a better team with him as their #3C compared to Veleno or Newhook.

    not by much, no lol.

I’m not as big a Danault fan as you are, it’s fine.

he is exaclty what the Habs need.
    vet presence and experience, check.
    lefhanded cente, check.
    goof on faceoffs, check.
    good on the PK, check.
already knows the organozation and the city, check.
not signed for ever, only 1 year left after this one, check.
what’s not too like? even with 5 points he’s way better than most of our current bottom 6 plugs.

meh, he’s getting paid 5.5M this year and the next, they already have Gallagher and Anderson as expensive, unproductive vets, why bother trading for what is basically an older, costly and less effective Kapanen?

makes no sense to me lol.

Kapanen is doing just fine with Demidov. play Danault #3C, Evans #4C

kind of a useless spending to trade for a 3C like that, no?

it sucks how things ended for him in MTL, but that ship has sailed, hard pass for me.

    Danault a Habs yet?

yeah, the guy has 5 assists in 29 games this year, he’s gonna be soooo good next to Demidov..!

they had that chance on the very last second and for some reasons Coco kinda didnt shoot !

Not sure why I kept watching.

oh come on now, you knew very well that they had a chance to come back in the game and tie things up at any given time 😜

    GO HABS GO!

frustrating game last night, the habs deserved a better fate, you could argue they played well in both games this weekend.

He is not worth the risk.
    Keep Away.
    Hang Up The Phone.

yeah, that’s too bad though, he’s a very skilled player when he’s on top of his game.

but that seems to be the issue, he lacks consistency, and has a reputation of being somewhat of a headcase.

    😂

happens to the best of us lol.

anyway I thought maybe you had Elias Pettersson in mind, which could be a risky and costly move…

Keeping in mind the Canucks are a dumpster fire,
he might just play better for a better team?

I thought they were talking about Phillip Danault..?
