ParticipantSlaf is doing a lot more things this year that may not show on the score sheet, including shooting more and using his size a lot more effectively.
what’s encouraging is that he usually has a slower start to the season, whereas this year he seemed ready from the get-go, so I think it’s safe to say he’ll have his best year so far as a hab and will continue to get better.

Participantthat little Caufield is a real poison.
and nice to see Slaf in front of the net. oh look! he scored!
after 10 games they’re exactly where we thought they would be, 8-2. bravo!the Slaf-Suzuki-Caufield line is slowly establishing itself as one of the best in the league. they’re just so fun to watch…

wtf…

ParticipantNo more backtracking from your initial thought or unassuming your typos!!
lol, actually I was able to find the edit option… on my phone it was hidden behind the quote button because of how poorly the site is designed.

ParticipantMy only concern is the contract… 3 years left after this one, $7M per year. 38 when it is done.
But he is the kind of player they may want, push Dach to the wing, Dach / Khadri / Bolduc looks like a pretty good 3rd line to me – solidified the top 9 and you still got and Anderson / Evans / Gally 4th line too.
yeah, Kadri would need to be a short term solution, which makes his contract a bit more problematic, but I guess Hughes would consider it since as you mention he does make the team better.

Participantmeh. lefthanded center, Habs will be interested. not sure Kadri would be my #1 target.
yeah, that would be more among the last resort options if Hughes can’t find anything elsewhere.

ParticipantYou have to do it day by day, and if you make a change (add / drop, etc), you have to re-do them all.
You can pay $3 a month, but that will only set your roster for 3 days, not the whole week.
So that seems pointless.
oh is that the thing I heard about Yahoo making people in fantasy leagues pay for an option that used to be completely free..?
sounds like the folks at Yahoo want to get rid of the only thing they had going after losing the search engine battle to Google lol.

ParticipantI think the whole process has been fun to watch. You look at young players, make projections, watch them grow together…
The only season that was absolutely unwatchable was the Dominic Ducharme year in 2021-2022. The man managed to use Caufield in a way that had him score ONE goal in half a season. ONE!
fun times…

ParticipantI was following the team closely even when they were losing almost every night, but perhaps that’s because I have masochistic tendencies, I dunno loll
