you’re right is’t not a big issue because they have noone else to play #2C. but that won’t last for ever.
besides, you could consider that Kapanen is currently playing the 2C role…
when Habs will be ready to compete, let say in 2 years, you really think Dach will be their #2C? seriously?
perso I could see him as a top6 winger, not a center. so play him on the wing! why lose your time and mine trying him at center?meh, he won’t lose his ability to play on the wing.
all centers can play at wing, but not all wingers can play at center. I really don’t see the issue here.
just switch Veleno and Dach and we’re good to go
he still needs to work on his faceoffs (like almost everyone on the team lol) but Dach hasn’t looked out of place so far at center, and since he has more upside than a guy like Veleno, it’s just logical to keep him there for now.
