ParticipantHe might come back in the league, no?
Not guilty
“The allegations made in this case, even if not determined to have been criminal, were very disturbing, and the behavior at issue was unacceptable,” the NHL released in a statement at the conclusion of the trial.
“We will be reviewing and considering the judge’s findings. While we conduct that analysis and determine next steps, the players charged in this case are ineligible to play in the league.”

ParticipantFirst few years, yeah, I gave him a pass just to see what he could do…
yeah, he had quite the controversial tenure to say the least loll.
concerning Markov, I’m still surprised he didn’t play for another NHL team after that, I’m sure he could’ve been useful in a diminished role, but I guess winning the KHL championship the year after leaving MTL was more in tune with what he wanted.

ParticipantWas always a big Markov fan, and while I was on the fence (gave him the benefit of the doubt) about MB for a long time, the way he treated Markov is what made me want him gone.
huh, I must’ve missed that part…

ParticipantOh, they are doing an Andrei Markov Homecoming night.
really..? that’s cool, considering how things abruptly ended between him and the habs…
I’m guessing there will also be a Dryden tribute on opening night? should be special.

ParticipantTough 24 hours for Habs goalies.
Did not even know Dryden was ill, but I guess, it is/was none of our business.
I remember watching those 70s games on TV as a kid. What a crazy good team to cheer for… and become a Habs fan.
I was spoiled by those teams.
My childhood heroes seems to be vanishing, I feel a lot older today.
I’m too young to have witnessed the glory days and I didn’t get to see Dryden play, but being a habs fan and a goalie enthusiast as a kid, I got to know enough about him to realize he was a big piece of habs history and hockey in general.
apparently “The Game” is a pretty good book, I might give it a try soon.

Participantperhaps Scab could write a blog about Hutson’s dad talking about Lane not being invited at camp by team USA, saying he could always play for Canada instead… that’s a pretty cool story loll.
