Poor Petry and Matheson…. beware of the Ire of Pete!
I think Pete was extremely exasperated with my comments at times, I got more JFC than HOLY from him.

yeah but in terms of asset management, if you’re gonna trade him and get the best possible return, then it just makes more sense to put him in your top 4 imo.
Pretty sure Hutson played the most with either Xhekaj or Struble, so will be interesting how they mix that up this year.
Hutson was often paired with Guhle, when he was healthy.
Would be interesting if they decided to split Dobson, Hutson and Matheson across 3 units, reward with specialty teams time to compensate.
Might make for a really dynamic D corps.
it would make sense and I do agree with the logic, I’m just not sure that Matheson would be relegated to 3rd pairing duties, unless of course he 100% wants to stay in that role in MTL and isn’t interested in playing elsewhere…
if they’re to trade him he’ll be in the top 4 imho.

yeah, I wonder how close to being NHL-ready he is, gonna be interesting to follow considering that Matheson might very well end up being traded at the deadline
yeah, not sure about that. if Matheson wants to stay home… I wouldn’t be surprised to see them extend him.

Selon moi Carrier est un défenseur top 4 et un droitier.
je suis pas mal d’accord avec toi sauf peut-être pour ça, idéalement avec un très bon club Carrier serait peut-être mieux sur une 3ième paire, et en cas de blessure il peut aider le top 4 temporairement.
