Participant“true, and part of the issue is that by the time there are 2 teams that reach the cup final, they’re so banged up that it obviously affects the play and the entertainment value… making the season longer will only accentuate this.” – Pat

Participantosti de quotes de tabarnak…
I highly doubt they’ll start that early, I could be wrong but they’ll probably start it early enough just to incorporate the extra games, the league has been very stubborn about this.
They already said max 4 pre-season games and season to start in September…. how late in September TBD.
I don’t think they want the season to end as late/later than this year.
we’ll see I guess, the league gets this kind of thing wrong more often than not imho lol.

Participant“if they’re starting the season earlier and they’re adding games, then the cup won’t be won much earlier… lol” – Pat
Yeah, awarding the Cup in June is pure madness.
I’m sure a lot of the non Cup finalist fans don’t care by then.true, and part of the issue is that by the time there are 2 teams that reach the cup final, they’re so banged up that it obviously affects the play and the entertainment value… making the season longer will only accentuate this.

Participantthis quoting quota is annoying lol

Participantmeh, for me there’s too much to be improved before they should consider making the season longer, whether the math adds up perfectly or not.

ParticipantPer Lebrun:
More on the 84-game reg season starting in 26-27 season (reduce pre-season to 4 games max per team), the idea would be to start the reg season in last week of September as a result of shorter pre-season.
The added games likely coming within the division.82 games is more than enough, teams already have a hard time making it to the playoffs with a healthy roster… anything for more profit lol.

Participantso there seems to be a maximum number of times you can quote the same conversation or something
Yeah, seems like it.
Maybe if you edit it down and get rid of the quotes from people you want to exclude… ie: delete everything but the latest quote.
Not desperate enough to try though.
LOL.
hey, you’re the one who was taking the time to add people’s usernames, and an action (“Pat exclaimed”… etc.), so…

ParticipantButton says the Habs will draft:
#16 – LW Malcom Spence
#17 – RW Alexander Zharovsky (seems like a reach)Constantino says the Habs will draft:
No. 16 Montreal Canadiens (from CGY): Lynden Lakovic, LW, 6-foot-4, 190 pounds, Moose Jaw Warriors (WHL)
Having just four PIMs is a red flag for a player his size and he was questioned about it in just about every interview at the NHL Combine. Physicality may never be a strong suit for Lakovic, but his skating and puck skills are too good to pass on here.
No. 17 Montreal Canadiens: Jack Nesbitt, C, 6-foot-4, 185 pounds, Windsor Spitfires (OHL)
A steady riser all season long, Nesbitt addresses a need for size in the organization. He’s got great hands, a nose for the net, and can ramp up the nastiness when needed.
Not sure both of them are available or if we even keep both 1st rounders.
would be interesting to know what he answered then lol…
“yeah, I’m a big dude but I don’t like being touched by strangers”.
