Participant#Stars trade Mason Marchment to #SeaKraken for a 2026 3rd round pick and a 2025 4th round pick
not a huge return for DAL imho…
edit: oh he hasn’t played this year, injury issues most likely lol

ParticipantI don’t over-evaluate Heineman Pat, I just think you need that type of player/skills on a top6 line. 1 passer, 1 scorer, 1 grinder.
well of course you don’t think you’re over-evaluating him, it’s your opinion lol… not saying you’re wrong, but I disagree and see him more as a bottom 6 ????
Pat1993
ParticipantI think Heineman is a middle 6 winger, whether it is on line 2 or 3 is tbd.
I think Dach’s body gave up on Dach….
I see Heineman as a very good bottom 6 player, but he could always pleasantly surprise me, who knows.
agreed on Dach that he’s gonna have to stay healthy, he definitely has the “porcelain player” label written all over him right now… but if he does stay away from injuries I still think he has more potential.
Pat1993
ParticipantI did think he might come to MTL and fill in for a few years, but a 4 year contract… yeeeeesh.
Pass.
for his current production though it’s actually a pretty good deal in terms of salary, he could’ve gotten more elsewhere.
Pat1993
ParticipantYES!!! Heineman could do the same thing Slaf is supposed to do on the 1st. work the corners, retrieve pucks, make room for his linemates…
but god do I hate that 3rd line. aie aie aiejebus… I find a lot of people are way over-evaluating Heineman and have given up too quickly on Dach, but we’ll see lol.

Participantah, I see.
management in Detroit hasn’t been all that great, their rebuild definitely isn’t going according to plan so this might be a good opportunity to take advantage of their incompetence loll

Participantalright, time to for serious business. assuming Bennett will remain in FLA or will be too expensive, my #1 target is Larkin in DET. GO HUGO GO!
and the wings are trading their #1C because…?

ParticipantI’d settle for Rasmus Anderson… and they can keep Huberdeau.
yeah, just looked at that contract again, it’s already pretty bad and it isn’t going to get better lol
