No, but he didn’t progress it either. Poor ownership, management, decision making and drafting set the franchise back. It’s going to take a few more years to climb out of it too!

Luchanko’s speed flashed a few times and he played solid defensively and on the penalty kill.
So what’s the problem? Where’s the giant issue? IF Jett makes the team it’s as a 4th liner. How much scoring do you expect from your 4th line? I think the Flyers are also looking to carry 14 forwards. There are realistically only 15 guys in the mix.

– Seems the peeps who cover the flyers are trying to pump the jett up despite him not doing much. Do the right thing send him back to juniors. He isn’t ready for the nhl and that is ok.

Got it, so preseason matters when it’s other teams, but is a pointless indicator of anything as it relates to the flyers.

– Doesn’t matter how long he will be around. Has nothing to do with you saying he isn’t a lock to be in the top 12 this season; of which he is 100%. His production will dictate his future.
– No jett hate at all. He is a center not a winger. Don’t think he should be in the nhl at this time. His lack of offense is worrisome. Hasn’t shown anything offensively that he belongs. Didn’t dominate juniors either.
– Canes > flyers. Have been for over how many years now. Not gonna change anytime soon. Those small speedy wingers are why they cant get over the hump. They need to follow the flyers blueprint. I bet if they offered a 1st for GH flyers would decline.
Check the training camp roster. Nine or 10 guys total including the 4 roster locks.

Jett’s played one PS game so far. He created some chances, his speed is noticeable and he’s not small. The situation in Guelph is a complicating factor. The team is apparently a catastrophe on-ice and off. The Flyers would be sending him back to that, not some idyllic haven for hockey development. He’s still getting the 8 game look.

That is not the best lineup. Now all of sudden you’re an abols guy. Too funny.
Him getting traded is irrelevant. Bump, the Russian, the jett, abols, or any other rookie is not taking brinks place in the lineup come opening night.
Who said abols being “versatile” is a problem. Why are they not using him as a center currently if they have any intentions of using him there at the NHL level. Would really love to hear your professional opinion.
Still holding their potential juniors? Meaning what? It is common procedure to let those types soak up the atmosphere. Have the even had any cuts yet?

I’m not allowed to be unsold on a player and then adjust when I see him play at a higher level? They have lots of guys to look at in the middle. I wouldn’t read too much into it.
