Quick Hits: Development Camp, Flyers Daily

The 2025 edition of Flyers Development Camp wrapped up on Sunday with a scrimmage between Team Jones and Team Briere. The Briere side prevailed in overtime, 4-3. Alex Bump (Team Jones) and Jack Nesbitt (Team Briere) scored twice apiece for their respective sides. However, Nesbitt’s latter goal proved to be the winner.

Additionally, Jack Berglund (assisted by Max Westergard) and Santeri Sulkku (Tim Lovell assisted) scored for the winning team. Sulkku’s goal came in the final minute of regulation, forcing sudden death. Matteo Giampa scored an unassisted goal for Team Jones. Defenseman Ty Murchison assisted on Bump’s first goal. while Cole Knuble set up the second. 2025 second-round pick Jack Murtagh assisted on the first Nesbitt goal. Owen McLaughlin set up the winning goal.

After the scrimmage, Flyers assistant general manager and team vice president Brent Flahr spoke with the media to wrap up camp.
