The Flyers Alumni Charity Classic Weekend wrapped up on Monday with the annual Alumni Golf fundraising tournament in Wilmington. In the morning, Jason Myrtetus and Anthony SanFilippo co-hosted a special 90-minute “tag team” combined edition of Flyers Daily and Snow the Goalie. Additionally, I was on the panel to represent Flyers Daily and the Alumni Association. Flyers Alum and Snow the Goalie’s Chris Therien was also on hand for the segments filmed prior to the cart call (Bundy played in the tourney).
During the course of the broadcast, the panel discussed topics ranging from the NHL Draft to trades and free agent season. Unfortunately, the Trevor Zegras trade came down about 45 minutes after we finished recording the podcast.
However, during the course of the podcast, we had numerous Alumni special guests drop in to discuss a wide array of topics: their own NHL careers, roster building, the evolution and cyclical nature of the game, thoughts on the current Flyers and much more. Special guests included Joe Watson, Paul Holmgren, Mike Knuble and Mark Howe.

(By the way , and thank goodness, Jason meant to call our podcast team a “trifecta” NOT a “menage a trois”, We could have edited out Jason’s malaprop from the opening segment and re-recorded that part. However,it was probably the funniest on-air moment we’ve ever had. So we kept the flub in there.)
