Canadiens Connection: Special Teams Remix

The NHL’s Hometown Remix campaign made its debut this week, and we got our first look at the Montreal Canadiens‘ version on Tuesday night against Winnipeg. The result was disappointing with the Jets scoring four late goals to tie the game and win it in overtime. Undaunted, the Canadiens donned their Hometown Remix jerseys in Toronto on Saturday night skating to a 4-2 win.

So, what’s the verdict? Do you love them? Hate them? Are you somewhere in between? Fortunately it seems that these new jerseys will NOT carry the same sort of curse that seemed to follow Montreal’s Reverse Retro jerseys. Amy shared her take on the Canadiens’ design, along with all 31 other Hometown Remix jerseys around the league on our YouTube channel.

Whether you think the Canadiens needed a remix of their jerseys this season or not, there’s one part of their on-ice product that absolutely, positively needs a remix. A reset. A revamp. Call it whatever you want, but something has to change.
