All three Philadelphia Flyers players have reached the Olympics medal round with their respective teams. On Tuesday, Team Czechia (Dan Vladar) has a qualification game against Denmark. The next day, Team Canada (Travis Sanheim) takes on the winner of the Czechs vs. Denmark match. Team Finland (Rasmus Ristolainen) opposes the winner of Tuesday’s match between Switzerland and Italy.
Additionally, Wednesday’s quarterfinals pit Team USA against the winner of the Sweden vs. Latvia. Slovakia plays the winner of Germany vs. France. Monday is a tournament-wide off day.
Meanwhile, on the weekly Mondays with Meltzer edition of Flyers Daily, Jason Myrtetus and I start out with a discussion of the men’s tournament at the Olympics.
From there, we look at the potential contract extensions of both Trevor Zegras and Dan Vlader and discuss when may be the right time to do so Finally, Jason revisits our preseason questions episode from 2022-23. Which question marks were answered positively? Which did not pan out? Moving forward, we discuss the key ingredients for better results.

Agree with your assessment with Jason on the Zegras and Vladar extensions. I would guess that Kolosov and Errson may not get extended so backup options for goalie 2 and 3 on the depth chart may need to be filled if Carson Bjarnason is not at least your third choice in the 26-27 season and Zavragin is not until 27-28 if then.
