Flyers Daily: Monday with Meltzer
In the Monday with Meltzer edition of Flyers Daily, Jason Myrtetus and I break down the open three days of 2026 NHL Training Camp. We pay particular attention to Saturday’s scrimmage at the Flyers Training Center in Voorhees. The program also takes a full look at the Matvei Michkov press conference followed by his very impressive week of practices and play in the scrimmage Saturday.
Additionally, we have deep dives on some players that really popped in the scrimmage, including Tyson Foerster, Cole Knuble, Alex Bump and Denver Barkey. Finally, Jason and I share our thoughts on the goaltending tandem of Dan Vlader and Joseph Woll. The Flyers could hardly have hoped for a better overall first week: healthy, productive and fast-paced.
Of course, nothing goes this smoothly all the time. Nevertheless, it was a fine first few days.
