I know it’s still probably too early to tell, but is there any update on Barkey? I’m hoping it’s nothing too serious.

Disappointed none of the 4 guys the Flyers need to have play decently to help the team D had good games. Don’t care about the forwards at this point.

Ranked best to worst, your analysis may vary:
Benoit-Took the DOG penalty to put them down two men where they gave the first one up.
Jiricek-Lost the puck at the point allowing a clean break goal for the 2nd.
Woll-Two short side high goals in one game.
Bonk-Burned and had to take a penalty that led to the first goal. Overplayed the less dangerous guy and let Strome walk in and finish. That was the game winner.

The Flyers seem to have had a really encouraging start to training camp, especially with so many players making an impression during the scrimmage. I’m particularly interested in seeing how Matvei Michkov builds on that strong week and how the younger players like Tyson Foerster, Cole Knuble, Alex Bump, and Denver Barkey continue to develop. The goaltending situation with Dan Vlader and Joseph Woll should also be interesting to follow as the preseason gets underway. It’s nice to see the team entering the preseason healthy and with plenty of competition for spots. While browsing for other interesting sports-related sites, I also came across On Luck.

I know, I know… 1 exhibition game, two periods. But between the Rookie Game, scrimmage and tonight so far, Martone has been kind of a no-show except for picking a fight with Gill

Bonk looked sluggish in the 1st period.

OK period. Didn’t like either goal that Woll allowed but TBF 1st was a 5 on 3 PPG.
