Murphy yes, no to Crevier, honestly be okay if they hold on to Murphy a wee bit longer.

Get used to it, they are going to throw these out there left and right because we are stacked at young talent, KD will wait unless a player like Reichel appears then they will be dealt.

I am also 75.Should I start thinking about my mortality?

We were assigned to the same school in 1972. We bought highly expensive plane tickets when we finally knew the date of the funeral, but last Friday the airline could guarantee the King wouldn’t cancel the flight, son we got in the car and drove up for the funeral this last snowy Monday.
Currently South of Atlanta on my way back to St. Petersburg, FL.

Although I am the guy who still wants to win one more lottery, i thing there will soon reach a high water mark in the standings and then level of in one of the 18 slots the teams not going to Lord Stanley’s Cup slot into…

I think about my immortality every time I pay the life insurance premium.

Articles out there on Chicago moving Crevier. If we do we won’t just give him away. I think Murphy is more likely to be moved. I wonder how many scouts are watching Rockford games?

    Sorry about your friend Wiz.

When it comes to the game when i started counting the times they didn’t check someone in the flow of the game it was 11. Vlasic, Bertuzz, Moore, even Bedard. Kind of disappointed when they were going after Bedard the Blackhawks didn’t go after Hughes or Bratt.

I can’t help but be disappointed in the number of defensive breakdowns the Hawks suffered in this game. I think it is time to end the 11/7 gambit Blashill has going on. These forwards are tired by the end of the game and it showed tonight. I watched Lev get knocked on his ass a couple of times. He needs to go back to the Rock! I counted three times Bedard got slashed, cross-checked, and took a hit to the head, and these Referees are not making the calls. If I were KFC, I would complain to the league. This is the future of hockey and they should be treated as such.

    Interesting post from Tab Bamford.
I don’t know how this compares to ordinary scouting/executive presence, but it seems like a lot of people.

fascinating collection of pro scouts & intriguing front office execs on the press box list for tonight’s #Blackhawks vs Devils matchup.

    TOR
    EDM
    ANA
    FLA
    SEA
    DET
    NSH
    WSH
    LAK
    STL
    NYI

TOR and SEA are in the Hawk’s next 3 games.
WSH and FLA are in the Devil’s next 3 games.

Not sure how far ahead these guys regularly attend games for opponent scouting:
Hawks play the Ducks 8 games down the road.
Hawks play the Kings in 10 games.
Hawks play the Predators in 7 games.
Devils play the Red Wings in 5 games.
Devils play the Blues in 6 games.

Neither team pays the NYI for at least 20 games.
Neither team plays Edmonton until January.

I think Mikheyev gets more than 2 years.
He won’t turn 32 until the beginning of next season.
Someone who needs a great defensive forward / great penalty killer, and will worry about the rest of a longer contract down the road.

He’s not going anywhere for a few months at least.
He will play here the entire season unless the Hawks are near elimination at the trade deadline.
They were eliminated about a week before the deadline last year. Will be better this year of course.

This is post 1009 on this forum topic. Counting backyards from here, post 1000 was submitted by Coach Frenchy. Congratulations, sir, and well deserved.

He’s still got jump. I wonder if 2x$3.5 would get it done?

Hawks will have a ton of cap space just to meet the floor next year. 2 x5M I think is more likely. Considering he may be mentoring Kantserov, it’s affordable and worth it,
