ParticipantWow the Ducks signed LaCombe to a nice contract, amazing i guess things are changing in Anaheim, or they saw what Kaprizov signed for and were like we might want to offer guys fair deals a year prior they hit RFA contract.

43 points for Lacombe last year. Lane Hutson with 66 points last season. He should get 10+M next year. What will Rinzel or Lev get if they put up decent numbers the next two years?

ParticipantI’m thinking Rinzel is going to be in the same ballpark on points this season.
They were saying Hughes contract influenced this deal.

ParticipantSo, Comcast just put the Marquee Network (Cubs) on their premium package. It is time to find a new cable company

People were saying the same thing about KK for a bit, and he’ll be lucky to get $2M/yr on his next contract. Let’s let the season play out before getting too excited about what guys’ next contracts will be.

With leagues and teams seeing how much money they can get by having these streaming services, it’s only going to get worse. I’m paying for the CHSN app, and that’s it. I’ve been using Hulu Live for about 7 years and I’m dumping that. They jacked it to about $95 per month after it started at about $45. I meed to finish setting things up, but T-Mobile has an offer where they include the basic levels of Netflix, AppleTV, and Hulu in their service. If it’s true, that’s all I’ll need by a long shot.

ParticipantCraig Button, TSN analyst has listed his top 32 2026 prospects. No surprise, McKenna is #1. Mostly forwards in the top 10 and a lot of D in the 11-19 range.

ParticipantUmm, not getting posts through again… Regarding MH’s link of Frondell: I see a lot of space looks like they’re lollygagging! Definitely not NHL or AHL hockey.

ParticipantLike many of you, I’m also impatient for the site to be back online. We’re currently waiting for the migration to be completed, and once everything is running again, I’ll be ready to post new articles about the team.
In the meantime, I’ve been following all the news around the Blackhawks and reading your comments here in the forum. If you have any requests or questions, feel free to ask me directly here — I’ll do my best to provide updates during this downtime since we can’t post on the front page.
It’s a big weekend ahead for the Blackhawks with some important decisions coming. Thanks for your patience — I wish I had better answers or updates, but this situation is out of my control. Hopefully, once the migration is finished, everything will be back to normal very soon.

ParticipantFrenchy
I found HockeyHotStove on Facebook and got the news about the migration to a new server. Enjoy the time off Frenchy. You’ve been working a lot the last few weeks and deserve some time down.
Hope you get the chance to watch the Hawks tonight. If you do jump in here with some of your astute analysis.

ParticipantThanks a lot for the kind words, really appreciate it ? You’re right, it’s been busy the last few weeks, but hockey never stops for me! I’ll definitely keep an eye on the Hawks tonight and will share my thoughts here. Big weekend for decisions ahead — should be fun to follow.

ParticipantLooks like Allen had passed EDM on the depth he’ll be in tonight, wonder if he’ll be paired with Sam?
