As long as we have Mikal Roszival to compare to Murphy’s speed records are safe.

I thought the Blackhawks went into the Edmonton game with a good game plan, and were able to match up well against their top line variations of their top twosome, use their team speed to play well defensively. There were hopes of a Lardis coming out party ,while Ollie blabs mike-up, we saw some top relentless action from Slaggert,Kaiser, and more superb Knightly armor, but the mediocre part of this line-up is having a mid line-up that are all short a tool that aids the team’s attack. The slack at lighting the light does show there again weren’t enough finishers, to the point where Nickie Lardis is your main gun?
I doubt some surprise veteran sniper is on the market, or how interested anyone in-house is for that type of solution this season, but, after you watch a match where the team’s roster weaknesses are exposed, I think they may have to have start pre-selling the notion that they planned for later public releases, like
    1) Connor Bedard’s addition to the Olympics, with the Wilson knee-ankle injury?

    2) Foligno will be officially added to the coaching staff.

    3) Which of the players with ending contracts MAY be interested in a trade deal where they play for the Silver Cup?

    4) That Arty is working up confidence about his shot.

    5) Using Vlasic and Crevier and the Oiler’s #1 line will continue.

Brayden Point injured last night, too. Another possible opening for an injury replacement on the Canadian squad.

Frank Seravalli on the CHSN studio show last night said the Hawks are getting calls on Murphy and Dickinson.

<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>Earl, if the Hawks miss the playoffs by a couple of points. Remember that NHL playoff contenders keep a veteran goalie around for emergencies. KD traded his insurance policy to meet the cap floor a couple of days before he needed him.

Talk about obscure complaints. You’re digging deep SFG. You can rationalize anything to fit your narrative.

Maybe the Blackhawks will bring over Dougie Hamilton?

I’d make NJ pay us to take him, then they can buy him out.

What a mess that franchise has become.

Man what a great game by the Bears tonight. That 4th down play was unbelievable to Rome.

    Amazing! Bring on whoever!
