ParticipantThanks, my friend. I’d really like to hear your thoughts about the game. One thing that stood out to me this morning while looking at the analytics was the HDCF% (High Danger Chances For). The Blues finished with 56.52%, while the Blackhawks were at 43.48%. That’s an area Chicago definitely needs to improve — they can’t afford to give up that many high-quality chances. Still, I really liked how they protected the front of the net overall. It’s a step in the right direction defensively.

ParticipantMy 2nd favorite part, Montgomery talking about how his Blues are going to take over the game the rest of the way when it was 2-2, hahaha

ParticipantMy favorite part of last nights game was Pang going on and on about Hofers stick handling and what a good goal tender he is and then Mikhayev scores, it was silent for 5 to 10 seconds, hahaha

ParticipantHere’s a link to a Tab Bamford article. Included are a lot of good video clips from the TNT crew – comments from Biz during intermission, post game interview interview with Nazar and Bedard to name a couple.

ParticipantWow! Who would have thunk it? Kaiser made a bad pass and then deflected in a Blues goal. One unhappy goalie on that one. Other than that, I like his game. I think Bertuzzi will be gone at the trade deadline. Rinzel is playing well, so Arty may go down because this seven defenseman doesn’t play well. I understand his thinking, but KFC must be doing a slow burn not having Lafferty on the ice. And how about Bedard? He is showing a bit more toughness this year. Good for him!

ParticipantPost 3rd period.
You can, tonight, count every iced Blackhawk as the youth movement, as the team truly was quick, spirited and wise in their execution of the new coaching / game plan and play the game with robot.
Tucker on Blues is the 6th bruiser / goon fighting defender and was his achievements on the scoreboard were not to my liking. There was clearly some offensive brilliance by Bedard and company, and team play was really something.
You gotta like Greene’s game, heck, all their games.
can Lukas start feeling it?
The young ones sure seem to enjoy each other in this on the job training exercises against a rival that got out worked, and they were in the play-off last post-season.The smart positional play of the dee corps and I think they eventually be decscribed as big, quick, smart, and they willing to be. combative inside their scheme.
That was FUN!
