ParticipantTonight’s game will be a relaxation with little stress.
Sunday with a Bear’s late start, the Hawk’s exhibition may see many double screen viewing.

We can never have enough Steve, though Assman is doing a good job in his absence.

Holy crap Barkov out for the whole season.Panthers released a statement saying he’s out 7-9 months.
The likely start of the playoffs is 7 months from yesterday.
9 months is after the playoffs end (barring some unexpected delay)With the new accrual and playoff roster rules, it will be interesting to see how they handle this.

ParticipantI swear i heard someone on TV comment that the time had passed and now the pick was locked in.
Yes, the Chicago Blackhawks are guaranteed the Florida Panthers’ 2026 first-round pick because a condition on the pick was met on June 27, 2025.
Thanks for the updates guys. I guess I misunderstood the conditions.

ParticipantMH, If KD moved KK today he’d be selling at his lowest point on top of he just turned 21. The return would be a good bit less than the cost and time spent developing him, I’d assume……. IMO very very little chance he’s moved anytime soon.
Mr. Ricochet,
I never advocated for the Hawks trading/selling low on KK.
I pointed out how young he still is (I compared his age to Hammer and Keith)
and how the only, but unlikely acceptable reason to trade him would be a high 1st rounder, which is unlikely due to the 2026 draft strength. My preference (if I was in charge lol) would be to keep giving him chances until he proves to be a total bust out.
Mainly in RFD this year with a couple short NHL callups would be fine with me. (unless he shows he’s ready of course)September 26, 2025 at 8:24 pm #38041BetweenTheDots
ParticipantFLA still has the option to trade their 2026 1st sometime before the 2026 draft in which case the Hawks get the Panther’s 2027 1st.
Maybe FLA will use it in a package to obtain McTavish for use as a replacement center.

According to AI you’d be correct
Yes, the Chicago Blackhawks are guaranteed the Florida Panthers’ 2026 first-round pick because a condition on the pick was met on June 27, 2025. The original trade for Seth Jones gave the Blackhawks a conditional 2026 first-round pick, but it was dependent on the Panthers owning their own 2026 first-round pick. This condition was met when the Panthers still held onto their pick before the 2025 NHL Entry Draft, converting the pick from conditional to guaranteed.

ParticipantWith McT it’s got to be the owners pulling the strings, I’ve said it before poverty franchises stink to be a part of.
