In grade 5, once every 2 weeks or whatever, the hippy guitar playing English teacher would make both classes get together and sing songs ( just ruse for him to jam), and that was a song in the booklet of songs he’d make us sing.

The kid seems to have awakened something in certain hockey fans/writers/announcers.
He is less “hockey-tough-and-gritty” than most other recent #1 OA picks / can’t miss prospects.
Maybe he reminds people of young Laine, PLD, Duchene for example?Let me just say the backlash against him does not at all surprise me so far.
